A retired set is one LEGO has stopped making and selling. We mark a set as retired once Brickset lists it as retired or its exit date has passed, and it stays on this page while we have it in stock. There's a mix of sealed boxes and restored used sets.
Prices for retired sets are set by the resale market rather than LEGO's RRP, so some sell above what they cost new and some below. On sealed sets, the title tells you if the box has wear or damage. Used sets are cleaned and checked against LEGO's official inventory, titled 'Complete', 'Almost Complete' or 'Incomplete', and if we've missed a piece we'll post it free.

What does retired mean for a LEGO set?
LEGO has stopped producing it and it's no longer on sale at LEGO.com or in the shops. We use Brickset's retirement data to decide when a set counts as retired.
When do LEGO sets retire?
Most sets are on sale for one to three years, and many retire at the end of the year. Our list of sets retiring in 2026 shows what's going next and which ones we have.
Are your retired LEGO sets sealed?
Some are sealed and some are used. Sealed sets are titled 'New Sealed'. Used ones are titled 'Complete', 'Almost Complete' or 'Incomplete' and have a condition report.
Can you find a retired set you don't have in stock?
Sometimes. Send us a message with the set number and we'll let you know if we can get hold of one.
Are your LEGO sets genuine?
Yes. Every set and minifigure we sell is 100% genuine LEGO. Hadley Bricks is an independent UK reseller, and we never sell fakes or clone brands.
What does 'restored' mean?
A restored set has been cleaned, sorted, built and checked against the official LEGO inventory. Its Hadley Bricks Verified card shows what's included, and any flaws are listed on the product page.
How much is UK delivery?
Free Royal Mail Tracked delivery on orders over £50, and £3.99 below that. We usually dispatch within 1–2 working days (we’re away: orders placed now ship by Tuesday 3 November).
Can I return an item?
Yes. You have 14 days to change your mind under UK consumer law. If an item isn't as described, we refund you and pay the return postage.
Why is it cheaper here than on eBay or Amazon?
Buying direct cuts out marketplace fees, so our prices here are always at least 10% below our own eBay and Amazon listings.
