Our Story
There’s something about LEGO that never gets old. The click of two bricks locking together. The quiet focus of following a build step by step. The way it pulls you away from screens and into something real — whether you’re five or forty-five.
Hadley Bricks grew out of that feeling. We’re a family business based in Tonbridge, Kent, founded on a genuine love for LEGO as a product — what it does for creativity, for focus, and for slowing down in a world that rarely stops moving.
What started as a hobby quickly became something more. We began sourcing retired and hard-to-find sets from online marketplaces, auctions, and private collectors, and before long we were restoring, listing, and shipping LEGO across the country. Over 5,000 sales in our first two years told us we were doing something right.
The name? That’s us — the Hadley family. Our two kids, Max and Emmie, are LEGO obsessed and often “help” with sorting (results may vary). Behind the scenes, my wife Abby keeps the operation running smoothly while I handle sourcing, restoration, and the tech side of the business.
With a background in software development, we’ve built our own tools and systems to manage inventory, streamline sourcing, and keep track of thousands of sets and parts across multiple platforms. It means we can spend less time on admin and more time doing what we love — finding great LEGO and getting it to people who’ll enjoy it.
Our Process — Every Set, Checked Piece by Piece
We don’t just resell LEGO — we take care of it. Every used set that passes through Hadley Bricks goes through a thorough process before it reaches you:
Clean — All bricks are washed and dried to remove dust, dirt, and any signs of previous play.
Sort & Inventory Check — Every piece is checked against the official LEGO inventory for that set. Missing parts are identified and replaced where possible.
Build & Verify — Where appropriate, sets are rebuilt step by step to confirm completeness and that everything fits together as it should.
Package Carefully — Sets are packed securely so they arrive in the condition you’d expect.
Whether it’s a sealed retired set, a restored classic, or a rare minifigure — if it’s listed on our store, we’re confident in it.
